What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.

The things we do

AIESEC engages around  32.000 young people at any point in time, and each year our platform provides them with:

  • 6500 leadership opportunities
  • Over 350 conferences
  • Over  4400 professional work abroad experiences
  • Virtual and physical Learning Networks

The way we do it

Our approach to engaging young people consists of several important principles that enable us to develop individuals that are valuable to organizations and society:

  • Individuals Taking Responsibility for their participation in AIESEC, resulting in a proactive attitude.
  • Nurturing Self-Awareness through goal-setting, mentorship, and visioning exercises, enabling them to act with purpose.
  • Challenging Perceptions of the world and themselves, allowing them to see problems and issues from different perspectives.
  • Building Networks to support them in achieving their goals and visions.
  • Developing Skills and Knowledge to increase their capacity to have a positive impact.

Our Reach

Our global network of offices reaches over 1100 universities in over 100 countries and territories.

We attract and cultivate young people with global mindsets and we give organizations an incredible opportunity to interact and access young people from all corners of the globe.

Youth driven organisation

We are an organisation that is driven by university students and recent graduates in an energetic, innovative, passionate and dynamic way.

We have hope and ambition for a better future

Activating Leadership
Since 1948

In our 55-year history AIESEC provided around one million people with highly impactful leadership experience.

It is one of our organizational values and we believe developing individuals is the most sustainable impact we can have on the world around us.

Connecting people and organisations

At every stage of it's history AIESEC has been connecting people and organizations.

In the 50's to bridge nations after World War II. In the 70's to develop internationally aware managers.

Nowadays to create networks of people who will be successful in creating positive change throughout their lives.
